Who are we ?

La Pépinière La Pivoine is a story of knowledge and passion.

The nursery is located in the heart of the Ardèche, in Ollières sur Eyrieux on the banks of the river, the plants benefit from a mild climate and strong sunshine.

The peony, this plant with captivating and fragrant flowers, is in the spotlight in our production. All the phases of multiplication and cultivation are mastered there in order to guarantee you healthy plants, cultivated with respect for the environment.

Thus you will be able to find more than 200 varieties of herbaceous, shrubby and itoh hybrid (intersectional) peonies in our exhibition center on approximately 1000 m2 whose free entry is free.

Some practical information:

Located 25 minutes from Privas and 35 minutes from Valence, the Pépinière is accessible by the D120 linking the Voulte sur Rhône to the Cheylard opposite the Dolce VIA and at the gates of the Parc des Monts d'Ardèche many walks, activities and gourmet stops waiting around in addition to canoeing or swimming in the river once the nursery has been visited.

Our car park below the road will allow you to park your car or bike in complete safety in front of the park and the shop.

Animals are accepted if kept on a leash and small in size.

How do we operate?

La Pépinière La Pivoine is a producer and specialist of peonies in the 3 existing forms, herbaceous, itoh hybrid and trees.

We welcome you to the nursery shop for on-site purchase of your bare root or potted plants depending on the season. We will bring you our advice on planting and caring for the peony live.

From October to the end of February the plants are offered in bare roots and then in pots the rest of the year.

The plants are cultivated and reproduced by us in the field on the edge of the shop, the nursery and cultivation part is therefore visible for the greatest pleasure of the eyes.

The online sale of peony on our site is accessible all year round, which allows you to reserve your plants as soon as they are put in stock, shipments by colissimo are then made from October to February/March in bare roots during the favorable period for planting.

The plants are grown for a minimum of 3 years in our field and have between 3 and 5 eyes (future stems or flowers) when they leave for your garden and are accompanied by advice on planting and caring for the peony.

Our collection of plants is growing from year to year and several varieties of peonies are thus added each year during the summer to be delivered the following autumn. You can receive, if you request it, alerts by email when temporarily exhausted plants will be put back in stock.
